ABOUT ABOUT

Every year the Equity Studies Students' Union (ESSU) hosts Decolonizing Our Minds with the aim of creating a space where Equity Studies students and members of the community can identify and interrogate the ways in which different marginalized groups practice resistance. This year, ESSU has reflected critically on the conference’s former name and we have decided to change the name to Stories of Resistance.

This year, we want to engage you in exploring the intersections of resistance and oppression with a special focus on conceptualizing the future in its most dynamic form which is art.
